About the Author — Ryan Maple

Hi, I’m Ryan Maple. A few years back I moved to Canada and quickly learned that one of the best ways to actually see the country is to get outside and camp your way through it.

When I first started, I struggled to find clear, practical information about camping in different provinces. Campground details were scattered across dozens of tourism sites, forums, and outdated blog posts. It was hard to know what was actually current or trustworthy.

Since then I’ve been slowly working my way through provinces, campgrounds, and trailheads, taking notes on what’s worth the drive, what to pack, and what nobody tells you until you’re already there. Maplelink Guide is where I put all of that together.

My goal is simple. I take what I’ve learned from research and real trips and turn it into practical, province-specific guides. Whether you’re camping in Ontario’s provincial parks, backcountry tripping through British Columbia, or looking for your first family-friendly campground in Alberta, I’m here to help.
